Our glassblowing classes are designed for those aged 18+. Those who show up for class and are not of age, forfeit payment.
Any and all welcome, no experience necessary! Taste of Flameworking offers a chance to try your hand at manipulating molten glass on the torch for $80/person.
Class capacity is 8 people, bring yourself and/or however many friends, fam, partners we have spots open for!
This experience is 1 hour long and includes at least 40 minutes hands-on time with a glass working torch and molten glass following a 20 minute safety talk and demonstration by a professional instructor with more than a decade experience working with glass.
Each scheduled class will be focused on one object from our current menu of glass objects. Each person’s finished object will need to be annealed (slowly cooled) overnight, so prepare for pickup no sooner than the following business day.
Classes in the flameshop are not BYOB and cannot offer catering due to limited space and constant attention required by the participant at their individual workstation. Please wear close toed shoes and natural fiber clothing (cotton rather than polyester as an example).
