Our glassblowing classes are designed for those aged 18+. Those who show up for class and are not of age, forfeit payment.
Craft in borosilicate (Pyrex) glass your very own smoking pipe!
Choose from a variety of colored glass options and experience the wonder, difficulty and satisfaction of shaping in the torch flame a one of a kind vessel for your favorite, legally defined, herb or leaf! Each participant in this workshop will have their own torch and tools station from which, after observing a 15-20min demonstration by the professional flameworking instructor, will spend the remaining 40-45min melting and shaping the glass in a 3000+ degree torch flame and shaping it into their own pipe.
This class, like all our other current class offerings, is strictly 18+. Come with natural fiber clothing (no polyester or spandex), close toed shoes, and a little patience and determination for this fun and challenging workshop. Be prepared to return the next day or at your convenience to pick up your creation as it will require an overnight cool down.
Classes in the flameshop are not BYOB and cannot offer catering due to limited space and constant attention required by the participant at their individual workstation.
