These are the classes we’ve become known for since 2018. Unlike some studios where you participate in more of an assisting capacity or just watch professionals create something for you, in all of our workshops you will play a central role in adding color, heating, patterning and shaping your creations!
Taste of Glassblowing ($95/person) is our crash course format. Each week, we set up for 2-3 project options for students to choose from. You select your project, colors, pattern and then an instructor guides you through the process.
Our Private Lesson ($445-495) format is the best value experience class that we offer! 1-2 students work with an instructor for 2 hours to make as many projects as they can with the time. Often this means making 4-7 projects varying in complexity from our crash course projects up to drinking glass or small carafes! Smaller crash course projects tend to take 15-20 minutes to complete. More complex projects such as drinking glasses or larger vessels may take twice as long and experimental projects can take even longer.
Private Group Workshops ($90-100/person) are great for work groups, birthdays, bachelorette parties and more! Designed for groups of 6 or more but smaller groups can always sign up and make at least 6 items to meet the minimum. This is the same format at Taste of Glassblowing but offered in a private setting on off-peak times.
For those wanting to take up glassblowing as a career or hobby, we have our Multi-week Courses! The introductory round consists of four 4-hour classes which build towards making clear and lightly colored drinking glasses. They will be wonky and small at first but made entirely by you! With practice, your creations will grow in scale and complexity. The goal is always to get students to a point where they can rent studio space independent of an instructor but that may take months of consistent practice.
